Life Group

Last night I went to life group. One of the girls, Jessica, was there last night.  She told the following story.

Her roommate's mom works with a lady that has a 17yr old, mentally-retarded son that is capable of staying at home alone while she is at work, or so she thought.

She received a call from her son.

Son: "Mom, I caught something, you have to come home and see it!"

Mom: "What do you mean, you caught something, what did you catch?"

Son:  "I caught a TROLL, you have to come home and see it!"

Mom:  "What do you mean?

Son:  "I caught a troll!, come see!"

The mom hangs up, tells her boss that she needs to go home and find out what is going on.

She arrives at home and her son is super-excited, he takes her to the closet and.......

HE HAS A MIDGET IN THE CLOSET!  He is a census-taker that had the great misfortune of knocking at her door when she wasn't home and her son had answered the door.

He loves the movie "Chronicles of Narnia" from which he thought trolls were real :)

Realty Executives

We are signing papers tomorrow to list our house.

The realtor wants to show our house Thursday.

My house is not ready to show but she doesn't care.

She said she has a client that wants North Bossier and wants to look at it Thursday.

Oh God, we may end up in Ft Wayne, IN if the house sells that fast.

I'm gonna miss her.  I wish she was staying with me.

Ok, so I do believe it's official.

We are transferring to Lordstown, Ohio

I am very apprehensive about leaving my youngest here to finish high school.

But, as my SIL asked, other than really missing him, do I have a good reason to not let him?

The answer is no.  But I will miss him to the point that it could possibly be unbearable.

I don't know if I am that unselfish.

I have a lot of praying to do.

Please pray with me, for me.
